VECTORS

Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

VECTORS is a personal flight-history service. It is operated by Dennison Tedrow d/b/a VECTORS (“VECTORS”, “we”, “us”). These Terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using VECTORS, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use VECTORS

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use VECTORS only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at support@vectors.travel if you think someone else has used it.

Your flight history is yours

You keep ownership of everything you bring into VECTORS: your flights, notes, trips and settings (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process, back up and display your content only as needed to run VECTORS for you, including enriching your flights with the data described below. We do not sell your content. You can download it, and you can delete your account at any time.

Connections and imports

When you connect a service such as Google Calendar, forward emails, or upload a file, you ask us to read it to find your flights. Only bring in information you have the right to share with us. Your use of another company’s service, such as Google, is also governed by that company’s terms. You can disconnect a connection at any time in Profile.

Flight data from other sources

VECTORS enriches your flights with open and licensed data from other sources, credited where it appears and listed, with its licences, on our Data sources and notices page. Actual flight paths are derived from ADSB.lol data under the Open Database License, and aircraft registration and type within that data are under the Open Data Commons Attribution License. How we process ADSB.lol data is published at Open data & methods.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights to use, copy, share or adapt data that VECTORS provides to you under the Open Database License (ODbL) or the Open Data Commons Attribution License (ODC-By), including flight-path data derived from ADSB.lol. That data remains under those licences, and where these Terms and those licences differ for that data, the licences apply.

Other third-party data is licensed to us for use in VECTORS and is subject to its provider’s terms.

Accuracy

Flight records, schedules and paths can be incomplete or wrong, and a path marked Calculated is an estimate, not where the aircraft flew. VECTORS is a personal record and visualization. Do not rely on it for navigation, operations, safety, legal, tax or expense purposes.

Using VECTORS fairly

Do not:

These limits do not restrict anything the open-data licences above allow you to do with open data.

Plans

VECTORS is currently free. If we offer paid plans, their prices and terms will be shown to you before you pay, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Profile. You then have 30 days to restore it, after which it is permanently deleted, as our Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts VECTORS or other people at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you the chance to download your content.

Changes

VECTORS is evolving, and features may change or be removed. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will tell you in VECTORS or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using VECTORS after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

Disclaimers and liability

VECTORS is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of data. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about VECTORS is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
