Open data & methods
Contains information from ADSB.lol, which is made available here under the Open Database License (ODbL). Aircraft registration and type arrive inside that data from the Mictronics aircraft database, made available under the Open Data Commons Attribution License.
VECTORS turns ADSB.lol’s historical position reports into the Actual flight paths you see in Atlas and Flights. As the ODbL asks (§4.6(b)), the method that makes those changes is offered here, free, in machine-readable form, for every processing version VECTORS has used. Data offered under ODbL may be reused under ODbL; nothing in VECTORS’ terms restricts that.
These packages describe only how ADSB.lol data is altered. They do not contain anyone’s flights, and they do not cover VECTORS’ own systems — how flights are matched or identified, imports, rendering, or application code — which are not part of the ADSB.lol-derived data.

method.md— The method: every alteration VECTORS makes to ADSB.lol data, with its parameters. This is the canonical, machine-readable method.manifest.json— Package metadata: the processing-version identifiers, the source licence, and each file with its SHA-256.additional-contents.md— The additional Contents the method folds in, and what is not folded in. The OurAirports files themselves are in this version's directory (airports.iata.csv, and ourairports/<commit>/).CHANGES.md— The version history, so output made under an earlier version stays explainable.
Every other source VECTORS uses is listed, with its licence, under Data sources and notices.
